Thématiques de recherche
- Comprendre et déterminer les contraintes environnementales (climat, sol, perturbations, anthropisation) sur la distribution des écosystèmes tropicaux et plus particulièrement les formations herbacées
- Développer l’utilisation d’indicateurs biologiques tels que les phytolithes en les combinant aux données d’ADN sédimentaire, polliniques, isotopiques (δ13C) et charbons lacustres pour quantifier la dynamique et les changements écologiques de long termes
- Comprendre le rôle de l’Homme sur les écosystèmes tropicaux actuels en utilisant des données fossiles (agriculture, diffusion et domestication des plantes).
